Eklutna Lake

 Rent a canoe from my husband's favorite store, REI.

 Go to Eklutna Lake and stand in awe of the color and beauty of the glacial water and the surrounding green beaches, tree line, and mountains.  (This is a major water source for Anchorage and Eagle River.)

 Ride out on the water.

 Hang-out with the kids on shore.

When the cloud settles on top of you and it downpours, pack up the canoe and head home.
