Patience of a 2 Year Old

Last night while I was feeding Marley and her friend, Jax, dinner, I mentioned that after dinner I was going to put them in the bath.

Immediately both kids jumped down from their chairs.  

Marley took off her clothes and diaper.

Jax ran into the bathroom and tried to climb in the tub fully clothed.

Both kids were dancing around chanting, "Bath, bath, bath!"

Lesson:  Don't mention to a 2 year old what's coming next unless you're ready!

Both kids got dinner part 2 after their baths to make sure their tummies were full enough to make it through the night.
