Tonight I went to pick Jared up from work. He walks out with a paper bag. I eye it suspiciously, but don't say anything. It's probably just something he picked up for dinner and then found out he didn't need to stay. When we get home, he hops out of the car, hands me the bag and tells me it's more me. Yay! I had mentioned that for some odd reason I had been craving store-bought birthday cake. Who craves that?! Weird, I know. So, he brought me some that he bought at the hospital. What a sweetie. A couple of weeks ago, I was craving powdered donuts. I loved them as a kid. Again, he brought them home from work. He knows I love gummy anything brought me a big bag of soft, yummy, gummy worms. Isn't he the best? For those of you that know me well, know that I detest fast food but again for some odd reason I was craving an Arby's roastbeef sandwich the other night. Jared got home around 11pm from work and headed straight over to Arby's to get us some fast food. You see, even though he doesn't know what it's like to be pregnant he knows that these weird cravings won't get out of my head until I get some of whatever it is I'm craving. Thanks hunny!
Yep, surprise, we're pregnant!
No, we weren't just bored in cold Alaska. Yes, it was planned. We found out a few days before leaving for Alaska. Yes, I've been sick--so sick. Yes, I've had mood swings (I sob when I watch Biggest Loser), weird cravings, morning sickness, crazy dreams...am I missing anything? I wasn't really sick with Marley (that I can remember) and I'm sure I was even-keel (ha ha) so this time around was a bit of a shocker for me. No, I'm not still going to run that 1/2 marathon - I get really big and I don't think it would feel very good on my big belly to be bouncing around for 13 miles. :) (see pic on left from when I was pregnant with Marley)
We are so so excited! Why do we have to wait 9 whole months to get them here!?
