Alaska

I just bought our plane tickets to go here.  It will be our 2-month adventure!

Maybe we'll see one of these!

I hope we don't see a bear!  Everytime Marley sees one in a book, she thinks it's a dog and gets real excited...

  2. Two months as in "we're leaving in two months"? or as in "we are staying there for two months"?
Very cool. I was only there for a few days and I couldn't get used to it not being dark in the evenings. I was reading on the porch as the sun was setting and was thinking I'd go in when it got dark. An hour and a half later I realized it wasn't going to get dark.

  6. Wow! That really will be an adventure! So cool though. You might want to teach Marley the difference between a bear and a dog before you go (just a thought). Have fun, be safe, and take LOTS of pictures!

  7. I'm excited for you guys, but what are we going to do without you in the YW's? Maybe they should just release the whole presidency since you're leaving! :)

  8. WOW, take me!! What a fun adventure for ya'll. I was gonna ask if you're THAT sick of the Arizona heat that you thought you had to go to Alaska to get away from it!

  12. Hey guys!! When we visited Alaska we biked on a popular paved bike trail. I thought that there was a bear just off the trail... it ended up being the back end of a moose bent over eating. It's so different running into a moose in the wild. (Danny and I were biking tandem with Ian in a trailer.) I hope you have a great adventure!!!
