Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving this year was lovely.  Rhett came up from Palo Alto to spend the holiday.  Thanksgiving day we spent at a friend's place.  There was football, lots of eating and cooking, crafts, and visiting.  It was a great day.  I have so much to be grateful for and appreciate having a holiday dedicated to giving thanks for all of our blessings.

Ice Skating - A first for Marley and Jake.

The next day we cut down a Christmas tree.  It's pretty flimsy and homely but the kids loved being out in the woods.  It's more about the experience than a beautiful tree, right?
