Happy Birthday, Baby Boy

I feel like I have totally neglected my little blog which only makes me sad because this is where I record what is happening in my little family.  I forget the little things when I don't write them down.  

My baby turned 1 on September 17.  I cannot believe a year has passed and that he is technically no longer a baby.  Knowing he was probably my last, I think I enjoyed the little things more this time around.

 This is Luke just before we moved to Klamath Falls.  He's always loved "helping" me with the dishes.

 I found this little gem mixed in with my other pictures, so I though I'd throw it in.  It really is so gorgeous where we live.

 Crater Lake.  We happened to go up on a day when the smoke from all the nearby fires was so thick we could hardly see the lake.  I love Luke's face in this picture.  He loves the wind.

I love that Luke loves Jared so much.  He's a mama's boy but will often reach for Jared to carry him around.  Much different than Jake was.

 I felt bad that his actual birthday didn't turn into quite the celebration I was hoping for.  The gift I had ordered him on Amazon didn't make it and my oven stopped working, so he didn't have a cake.  A few days later, we had friends over and Jared picked up an ice cream cake and we did a celebration for this sweet guy.  

 Have I mentioned how much he love ice cream?  Like seriously, loves it.  It ended up being the perfect cake for him.  He ate his entire piece without flinching.

 His birthday gift.

He has all of us wrapped around his finger.  Nobody can stand to hear him cry and so it seems that there is always somebody carrying him around, sharing their snacks, or playing with him.

being outside
meat
His siblings.  He seriously adores Marley and Jake.  Makes my heart happy.
