Our Indulgence
A meal in a bottle. It's so simple. It's clean. Marley loves it. We shake up her bottle, she grabs her favorite blanket, I put on some good tunes and we head over to the couch to cuddle together while she drinks her meal. In contrast, this is what meal time looks like when it doesn't come from her bottle. Are we really ready to give this up?
Wow!! She is getting so big! Looks like you are having fun in your new home. Miss you guys!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh - I have memories of our son eating like this, morning noon and night. It would be on the underside of the tray just as bad as the top. It would even be on the back of the seat and under the seat. (and the "Ohhhh" is NOT the sweet nostalgic kind of sigh)
ReplyDeleteThe good news is - he is 19 and eats like quite a gentleman and has for a good number of years. Fortunately it's not forever.
What a doll!
ReplyDeleteOh, the days when messes were so much more contained, and meals were just a matter of water and powder. Marley looks like she really knows how to enjoy some food, I think you'll be getting your money's worth from your mop! So cute!
ReplyDeleteyeah, I've been going through the same thing with Nolan. I don't like him to get messy (because I don't want to clean it up), so I feed him the stuff that will get him messy. But I kinda miss where I just sit and give him the boob. Oh well... I had to stop it because I didn't want to have to pull up to the school for a quick feeding during preschool! :)
